Where Heaven and Earth Meet

This tour opens with a breathtaking view from the Olive Mountain to Temple Mount and the Old City of Jerusalem. We’ll hear about Jerusalem’s history from the days of King David until present day, and about the importance of Jerusalem as a holy city for all three monotheistic religions.

From there we’ll go to the Old City through the Dung Gate (Sha’ar Ha’ashpot) to the Western Wall, the last remanence of the Temple in Jerusalem, where it is believed the Shekina (divine presence) has remained for eternity.

We’ll move on to the Muslim Quarter and follow the Via Dolorosa – the path along the Old City, perpetuating Jesus’ path from where he was trialed and found guilty to where he was crucified, the Golgotha. Finally, we’ll see where Jesus was buried and resurrected – The Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
